Make sure you add fresh content to your blog as often as you can. This helps to keep your site fresh and it provides more pages that will be indexed in the search engines.

Outside of your site there are plenty of other tactics you can try too. For example you can consider joining one or more social media sites. Building profiles on sites like Facebook and Twitter is a great way of connecting with more people. You do have to make sure you can provide regular updates otherwise people may become disinterested and stop following you. However it is worth spending just a few minutes a day doing this, and you can automate some updates as well.

Another method to use is advertising, whether by classified ads or Google ads or display advertising.
